I don't work with sandpaper much, not used to both sides having grit. Not paying attention I put the black side against the pad and ruined a sheet because it wouldn't stay. Put the side with numbers against the pad and black side facing wood and you'll be ready to rock and roll. Some say you can use both sides but I think the grit on the numbers side is just to hold it to the pad, when I mistakenly had that side facing out it didn't sand much of the wood.

Functioned well. Fit sander perfectly. Only reason I dropped a star is that one side of the paper seemed lower grit. Great price

The product works, but the adhesive was lacking so I had to use spray glue to ensure paper stayed in place. Appeared the item received was New Old stock and had lost its ability to stay in place without added assistance.But still got the job done. Would buy it again, if needed as the price is appropriate

I had no slippage at all using this in a home drpot rental square buff orbital sander (brand:American). The back side is indeed very rough and easily grips into a red sanding padIn fact, since these are silicon carbide, these seem to cut twice as well as the ones they sell at the home depot rental placev.I 100% approve of these

These sandpaper sheets adhere perfectly to a square buff machine with a backing pad in between. I bought 20 grit and 60 grit and both were very durable when sanding a deck.
