A big metal box with gaskets and and easily removed liner that goes back in nicely. It’s sturdy and a decent if a tad awkward latch with key.It has a lock plates to hold it to rear frame but the latch was already loose and adjustment was not really going to stay tight, needed a spring loaded design. I expect metal bobbins will wear as an extra set is included.That didn’t matter to me as I just wanted a sturdy lockable box, I took the mounting plate off, drilled out the rivets for the mounting lock and bolted it to my e-trike in place of the useless cargo basket. Now I can carry helmet and lock and the removable liner keep them from rattling.

I purchased the 45L box for the back of my ADV150 scooter. It's mounted on a Chinesium special rack.Fit and finish is good. The entire box is not metal though, sides are definitely some sort of plastic (probably ABS plastic judging by feel). Interior materials are nice and the box itself fits my XL helmet (my hat size is a 7 3/4").Latches don't feel heavy duty though so we will see how that lasts. The mounting system is pretty self explanatory and seems to hold the box tight.Overall, I recommend over spending $500 on a name brand kit because I can buy like 3 of these before buying one of the name brands.
