It’s supposed to motion activated. We spent over an hour trying to get it respond to very close motion. Finally ended up attaching the motion detector to the front door handle with a string, so it would go off when the door was opened. It looks and sounds really cool. Wish it functioned better.

I absolutely love this little witch. Exactly what I was looking for my small bench. Her eyes can be turned on at night along with her voice. Wasn't expecting much for the price and was pleasantly surprised. She also has a loop you can hang her if preferred.
