Ok, so I realize our boat and trailer are not the nicest at the ramp, but when we decided to add trailer guides I was driven to cover them so it wasn't just some PVC pipe sticking up off of our trailer. These covers solved the issue easily. Our guides are only 40", but the cover was easy to double back on itself and the inner foam was very easy to trim. The covers have been very durable so far - recommended.

Initially, I was very happy with these guide pole covers. They are thick, durable, and 'installed' in mere seconds. When not in use, my boat & trailer are garaged, but after a week of being in the elements on a fishing trip, these faded noticeably. That has not affected their function, only the aesthetics. I may try to die them to bring them back to looking better/new. All in all, not a bad product, but if your boat is stored outside, you may be disappointed with the colorfastness.

48 Inch Boat Trailer Guide Pole Pad and Cover with Capped End Heavy Duty Boat Trailer Guide Pads for Ski Boat, Fishing Boat or Sailboat TrailerI ordered these to replace a different set of covers that I got last year. The other ones were made of a really tough fabric and looked nice for a while. unfortunately, they faded badly after just a couple of months and looked kind of ugly. These are made of neoprene. I’m hoping the neoprene will hold its color better. I saw another reviewer saying not to buy these because they arrived all folded up. They do arrive folded and don’t look very good when you first take them out of the package. The folds do make them slightly more difficult to put on, but it’s not that big of a deal. Once they are on, you can’t tell that they were ever folded, and they look very nice. For under $30, it’s a good way to protect your boat and it looks a lot better than just plain PVC.

The neoprene covers are awesome....since I only had nylon previously. However the inside foam was shipped tightly folded (I guess to save cost) totally misshapened and looked terrible. Had to use my old inside foam...good thing I saved those, or I would be returning this. So had to reconstruct this product using parts from my old guides....should not have to do that!!

Got these to cover the pvc pipe guide poles on my boat trailer.The fit ok and look a lot better than the pvc pipe bare did.Great to keep from damaging your boat finish if you come in a bit crooked or the wind picks up.Would have like to have them in matching colors tho.Black will just absorb the sun and rot in no time if not protected.
