This gear is no joke when it comes to speed and is solid for durability. However, at 70+ mph, controlling the car is very difficult and you need tons of room. I highly recommend this for seasoned drivers. Also, only use on roads, and even then my esc has overheated.

Bought through Traxxas, but can write a review here. Do not buy this gear if you are new to RC driving, it will increase the top speed immensely. Also, do not use this gear with any stock motor, (eg: Traxxas motors, dynamite motors). This gear really should only be used if you are going for top speed, nothing else. Be sure to have that gear mesh on point. Very quickly even with a good mesh will it wear your spur gear. I went through 2 in a day roughly a week ago. All in all though, great gear, but I don’t think I’ll be using it anymore, just not worth the time of replacing spur gears.

Combined with 76-tooth spur gear and budget brushless motor/ESC, and the Slash just hauls now... Might overheat, but it's almost too fast to handle, lifts the front wheels at almost any speed, partially due to high CG and softer suspension. Tons of fun.

I bought it for my stock latemodel project, we race dirt oval with 17.5 motors.Pinion gear was pretty good quality, set screw fits nice and snug!

Used with a 73t spur on my titan 12 motor DO NOT DO THAT WILL BLOW MOTOR. Nice gear however ignoring my bad gearing decisions.

Great gear but u better have an upgraded motor. Put to much stress on motor the came with truck.
