I ordered both the Kawasaki one and this one at the same time and when they arrived I took them both apart to compare and the only major difference I could find was the Kawasaki one had a lot more grease on the impeller shaft and it rotated a lot more smoothly. This pump actually turned pretty rough and even had a couple rough spots in it. So I used some high temperature bearing grease and coated the shaft and put it back together and after that I literally couldn't tell the difference between the two. I actually had to take a sharpie and mark the OEM one so I didn't get them mixed up so I could send it back. I installed and have about 9 or 10 hours on this pump so far and no issues at all. But if you don't want to take the pump apart and grease it I wouldn't recommend this pump I would imagine if you didn't grease it the way I did that you would be lucky to get even a couple of hours before the bearings would seize up or it got hot enough that it would burn the rubber seals around the shaft and it would start pouring coolant.

Just after 30 days this pumps failed. Locked up tighter then Alcatraz. Don’t waist your time or money. Now I’m cleaning the gears from my crank case
