I can't speak to how well it'll hold up over time, but it's hanging in there so far. I was skeptical about the amount of plastic that comprises this thing, but it seems okay so far. I haven't used it a ton up to this point, but it's worked without issue so far and I'm pleased with it.

Easy to use, not heavy. It took me less than an hour to do my whole backyard. Not a big yard but there were a LOT of weeds. I did also just pull weeds on my side yard and it took about the same amount of time and it’s a much smaller area, AND my legs were killing me when I was done.The ONLY thing I could see being better about this is if someone else were doing it!! But if I have to pull weeds, there’s no way I’m doing it with anything else from here on out!

As I get older it becomes more difficult to bend over and fight with a weed. This tool has been a game-changer for my gardening! The 46'' stainless steel handle is sturdy and allows for easy weeding without bending over. The claw design effectively grips weeds, making it simple to pull out even deep-rooted ones.I appreciate the detachable feature for easy storage and transport. It’s comfortable to use and reduces strain on my back. This tool is awesome. I have those weeds that are super stickers and when I pull them by hand the root breaks off. The result is it just grows back. This sucker pulls out the root and all, without me having to touch the stickery weed. It's my best friend!

I like a good assembly challenge, but this one was frustrating. You had to get the sleeves and holes lined up just right to finally get it to click together, and the instructions were only mildly useful. Once I got it assembled and tried it on a weed, I nearly chucked it straight into the garbage because it wasn't working. However, I finally had a revelation after seeing a weed puller demonstration go by on a TikTok video and realized I was missing 2 super important things. The first is that the green part at the bottom hinges up and should stick out at the back. The second important thing is that you have to step on the green part when you try to pluck a weed out of the ground. The plucker part won't pluck without your weight to help. I feel like this was valuable information left out of the instructions. Maybe it's obvious if you've seen one of these in action before, but this was completely new to me. Anyhow, NOW it works amazingly well. It even manages to pull up dandelions by their deep roots, which I think is quite a feat. Once you manage to get it together and know how to use it, this tool is a must-have.

QUICK LOOK: On the ranch here, it's a constant battle between us and weeds. And I'm not talking like little pull them up by hand type weeds...I'm talking the prickly nasty deep down rooted ones. Sure you can get the gloves on and get in there with a trowel or shovel or whatnot, but this weeder has completely changed the game. It took a bit to figure out the mechanism for HOW this works and the instructions were pretty much non-existent, but once you figure out how the product works, it's incredibly effective.You essentially line up the stalk of the weed and use a pedal action to leverage and pull the weed up and out. It's incredibly fast and effective at getting the root systems of weeds and allows you to go after some pretty gnarly weeds that you would probably end up wacking down and leaving the roots there to pop up again in a few weeks.The unit itself is pretty lightweight and anyone that's used it here hasn't complained about any issues. We've been using it for weeks now and it's held up very well. The tool is constructed out of sturdy metal and plastic and is showing no signs of breakdown even after some extended use. The added gloves are a nice bonus, but run on the smaller side.THE GOOD STUFF:- Effective and efficient - this thing will change the way you weed your garden or property- Well constructed and durable- Gets to roots easily and uses leverage, so relative effort is a LOT less than other ways of weedingTHE NOT SO GOOD STUFF:- Instructions are not clear at all - need to figure it out or watch videos to see how it works (but once you get it going, it's great!)
