This fit right in to my breakaway trailer cable box! Initially ours came with a wire cable… it flapped around all over and made a lot of noise. Then I got a 4 foot one just like this one but I was always worried that a hard turn would pull it out… which once it did in my cul de sac when I was about to turn around and back it into our driveway! Thank god I was barely moving! I started attaching it elsewhere and it was ok but it always made me nervous… with this 6 foot cable, I feel like I finally got it right. It stretches JUST enough to feel at ease when I have to take hard turns or even when backing into our driveway when we get home from taking our 5th wheel out. This has a really heavy duty carabiner with it too! The pin seated really well into the breakaway box too.
