I am very impressed with this pole saw kit. It came with two batteries, a charger, 8 feet of pole sections, a 4" electric chain saw attachment, and an electric clipper attachment. Having two batteries allows you to use one of the attachments on the pole and the other directly connected to a battery. You have to put it together, including the chain, guide and guard for the chain saw, but it wasn't too difficult, and they provided all of the tools needed. Everything fit well.I had never used a pole saw, and it it is a little heavy to hold up with your arms to try and reach high branches. However it cuts well and is exactly what I was looking for. The clippers only clip once when you squeeze the trigger, so I thought that was a little odd, but they seem very powerful. It did not come with a case, so I had put it all in a box until I find a case big enough.Overall, I am very pleased with this kit.

This set comes with three different components each with their own instruction booklet. The pruner/cutter is pretty self-explanatory and has a decent instruction book. The 'extender pole' has terribly translated instructions, but at least are pretty straightforward; I just ignored the instructions and everything fit together fine. But the branch saw requires significant assembly and the instructions are terrible, so be prepared to spend some time on it.The whole set works really well. I'm really impressed with how easy it is to build the 'extender pole' to the length I need and how both pieces (pruner and saw) work just as well on the pole as on their own. Battery life is really good too. But the branch saw itself is annoyingly finicky and continually slips off the track. Bring the screwdriver and wrench with you and expect that for every 10 minutes of cutting you'll then have to spend 2 minutes getting the chain back on track.

This 4-in-1 cordless pole saw and mini chainsaw set is an incredibly useful tool for tree trimming and yard work, but it’s not the most intuitive out of the box. Definitely take the time to read the instructions carefully — setup and swapping between the different functions isn’t something you want to "wing."Once you’re up and running, though, it’s really impressive. The pole saw reaches a good distance (up to about 13.7 feet) and makes quick work of small-to-medium branches. The mini chainsaw is strong enough for thicker limbs and feels surprisingly easy to control. The pruning shear is a nice bonus for detailed trimming and smaller cuts. The angle adjustment feature on the pole saw is a huge help for getting hard-to-reach limbs without awkward balancing. The two 21V 4000mAh batteries are also a major plus — I was able to work for a solid stretch without worrying about running out of juice. It’s well-built and powerful, but again, plan on spending a little time learning the tool before jumping in. Once you’re familiar with it, it’s a fantastic all-in-one yardwork solution and a huge time saver.

As you get older having the right tool is significantly the most important thing. Last year my favorite Amazon order was a hand held battery operated clippers. I have used the heck out of it and it has saved my poor arthritic hands. The problem, however is it is hand held and won't work on a pole. Imagine my excitement when I found this and it has a telescoping pole that I can extend up well beyond the height of the trees.I pruned our fifty fruit trees in Feb when they were dormant. Unfortunately the ground was super wet making a ladder difficult and dangerous so I waited until now. I had gotten everything I could from the ground so there are plenty of tops needing to come out. This set of tools will not only get my clipper up high but it also has a small thin saw that will come in handy if we need to prune in a tight spot. The saw head is small so can fit in small places easily. This set isn't of the highest value but the price is good. The batteries are beasts and oh so very powerful. You will want to wear ear protection when running the saw. The clippers actually worked perched all the way up there which is impressive. So great product idea. Not a super fancy set but it will get the work done and overall it is a great value. The poles do not fit together easily but they eventually go in. It is easy to handle from the ground. I had to call hubby in and it took him a bit to get them all together. My plan is to finish the orchard from the ground with this pruner. It will save me a ton of time and let my poor wrists rest. Bonus - you can use them as handheld or up on the poles... super nifty
