I've been using this for about 8 months. It's been working great, but now it just stopped recording. I checked all of the settings and I've gone through all of the troubleshooting I could find, but to no avail. It's too late to return it, so I guess I'm out $ 40

This was pretty easy to install (my son did it for me). The video quality during the day and night is very clear. It adheres well to the glass. Definitely worth the money!

The instructions are very clear so I was able to install this in about an hour and I’m not handy at all. It’s small but it has great video quality. I love that it’s a front and rear camera. My mom even bought one after seeing it in my car

I have a ton of SD cards, so it didn't bother me that mine came without one. My strong recommendation is to use something larger than the 64 GB card some of them appear to ship with. It is a suction mount, but not just a squish-on and hope it holds suction cup. It seems pretty solidly mounted once in place. I don't like having the wire visible on principle, but I don't know how else they would do it. The unit itself is pretty small and unobtrusive. It has a small display and, again, that's the way it should be. You really want to do your viewing on something larger anyway. The display can blank out so you're not blinded by it at night, which is a must.Stringing wire, especially to the back camera, is something you just have to get used to. The included wires are long enough. The front camera can take 4K video, but the back is 1080 only - understandable since transmitting 4K video would require a larger cable.The camera pairs with your smartphone via its own WiFi connection. I get a little tired of all the apps for different things, but at least this one paired easily using the QR code. The app is like most of them - probably not the way I would have designed it, and has a little learning curve. But not bad. The unit has some collision detection, which is handy in parking lots. The night vision? Meh... it's night vision. If you were trying to ID a suspect it would be limited, but for showing what happened in a traffic incident it's more than sufficient. The camera has a very wide field of view which, for me, is also a must.This unit has loop recording, which just means that it records until the card fills up and then it starts to delete the oldest video and replace it with the newest. Most of the time you know pretty quickly if you need to save footage, so that's generally the best method for dash cams. But it's also the reason to use a bigger storage card.Will you like the dashcam? I think so. If you're a content creator, you would probably be using something higher-end, but for the functions most of us need in a dashcam? This is a pretty good choice, and easy to install and get working.

got the camera for all the crazy drivers out there. easy install with clear instructions. working on installing the rear view unit. One feature my wife ( who hates the camera) is the screen saver mode which black outs the screen so at night you do not have it glowing at you in the night. pulled some video off just to see how clear it was and it really is clear day and night. will be getting this unit for our other car.
