bought this for the Wife’s desk. using this she is able to swap between her work computer (HP Thunderbolt dock) and her gaming PC in a press of a button. zero delay and it works perfectly. only thing i wish is that is used usb C for the usb connection. male to male is an odd cable now and hard to find in varying lengths.

This HDMI+DisplayPort KVM Switch is exactly what I needed to manage two computers with dual monitors effortlessly. Supporting 4K@60Hz ensures crystal-clear display quality, whether I’m working on detailed graphics or multitasking across apps. The ability to share four USB 3.0 devices like keyboard, mouse, and external drives between both PCs is a huge productivity booster. I especially appreciate the support for both extended and copy display modes, which adds great flexibility depending on the workflow.Setup was straightforward, and the included desktop controller and USB cables made connecting everything hassle-free. The build feels solid and reliable, perfect for professional or home office use. If you need a smooth way to switch between two PCs with dual monitors, this is a fantastic choice!

Great but be ready to trouble shoot and buy cords and adapters. The company is very responsive to trouble shooting by email and knows their product. Word to the wise if any of the ports on the back do not have a cable in them then that has a 99% chance of being one of your problems.I was hooking up a PC and a chromebook to 2 monitors and most of my isses was not useing all the cords or not the right cords. (do not ignore the 3.0 Usb cables.) to hook up my laptop I needed an hdmi/usb to type-C adaptor and as of this review I am still figuring out the DP to Hdmi adaptor I need for my laptop to work with the second screen. I will update once I get that to work. but so far I am loving the flexibility of switching between 2 computers for work and personal use with the touch of a button.Update: The active adapter worked (link below) hopefully this helps the next person.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F3GQF5H1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

I wasn't sure how this would work but it has been perfect. Takes about a second to transfer and then the monitors, keyboard and mouse all work on the other computer. Really happy with the purchase.

Bought this one to be used in my office to change between my new computer and an old computer that I have and still use because of a software that is not available anymore. This switch looks durable and well built with a metal case. Connecting it is relatively simple: just make sure you use all of the cables it comes with.I like that I can connect a display port cable or HDMI CABLE, that assures I an use it later with newer computers.

I have a desktop and laptop that I use regularly. The laptop has some software on that I need to use on the move, and for data reasons, I can't install it on both machines. For a long while I would have to make do using the small screen on the laptop even when at home, but now, thanks to this clever device I have both machines wired up to a single mouse and keyboard.Setting it up didn't take too long. It did take me a couple of attempts to get all the monitors and USB mouse and keyboard plugged in and working, but once I did it worked superbly. Now, all I have to do is press a little button on the front of the unit and the contents on the display change from my laptop to the desktop and I just carry on typing on the keyboard and using my mouse as normal. I also have the benefit of having a 21 inch monitor displaying the contents of the laptop rather than the 8 inch screen that comes with it (it is a seriously small and very portable laptop).Been using it for about a month and it has worked perfectly every day and switching couldn't be easier.

Thanks to the person that recommended using the card that came with the product to reach out to the vendor, that's exactly what I did. And to the vendor's credit, they were very patient and helpful with assisting me with troubleshooting the product. We landed on a solution, however, with my set up i had one newer monitor and an older monitor - the older monitor did not switch over between my two PCs with the switch. I had to move the HDMI cable between my first PC and the KVM switch when I wanted to use the older monitor on my second PC, and then switch it back when I wanted to use the older monitor on my 1st PC.The way I worked around this was by getting an HDMI splitter, which unfortunately does mean having to hit two buttons when I want to switch from one pc to the next, but that's still significantly better than having to unplug and replug every single time I want to go back and forth.

This KVM switch is a great addition if you’re working with dual monitors and need to seamlessly switch between multiple computers. It supports up to 8K at 60Hz, but even at 4K 60Hz, the clarity and response time are impressive. The switch is quick and hassle-free, with no noticeable lag or loss of quality when swapping between systems. This is a display port only KVM whereas many I used previously were HDMI.It’s got a solid metal build that feels durable, and the inclusion of four USB 3.0 ports is a big plus for sharing peripherals like printers, external drives, and even webcams. Being able to toggle between mirrored and extended display modes is a standout feature, especially if you’re multitasking or working across multiple applications. However, it’s not perfect. The USB ports can be hit or miss with power-intensive devices, which can be frustrating. The wired remote works fine, but an infrared option would be more convenient, especially if your workspace is spread out.Despite these issues, it’s a reliable, well-built switch with enough functionality to make it worth the price. If you need a display port KVM switch with dual-monitor support and solid peripheral connectivity, this one’s a good choice. Just be prepared to deal with a few quirks.

Having 3 devices that share resources (desktop PC and 2 laptops), I was keen to test out this KVM switch which would solve my current issues of having to manually swap cables and press monitor buttons to switch inputs.Initially I was disappointed, it did not work. I have inbuilt graphics (Intel HD 4600) on my desktop motherboard. When connected to the KVM, every 60 seconds or so, I would get graphics breakdown, the screen would flicker and go pixelated. Then 10 seconds later it would right itself, and start again. The laptops did not suffer this problem, they worked fine. I emailed the support team, and a day later they replied with some solutions, and I tried them all. I purchased new 8K DP cables, and tried all the inputs, sadly it didn't make any difference. I decided to take a gamble and purchased a separate graphics card (NVidia) for the desktop. This solved the issue, and I'm glad to say I now have a fully working KVM switch between all 3 machines. They all use DP for video, and share a wireless mouse and keyboard. I also have 2 spare USB ports on the front of the KVM if required in the future. The KVM switch itself is quite bland looking, but hey, it's a KVM switch at the end of the day. There is an included remote control (which I'm not using), and 4 short USB3 cables to connect to each device. They are short but actually were long enough to connect to my desktop and laptop docking stations.I have noticed the unit gets a little warm at times, which I will keep an eye on. I'm not sure why it needs to expel so much heat. It does require power and comes with a transformer, and the power lead needs to be longer, it's way too short. One thing I couldn't test, is if the KVM will accept different video inputs (HDMI/DP) and still work. I wonder if all inputs need to be the same as the output.Overall, apart from it not working with my previous inbuilt graphics, once working, it's a good unit.----------------------------This review is for an item I received free as part of the Amazon Vine program. I always review objectively, and only award 5 stars if I feel a product is worth it and is something that I would be happy to buy.

I ordered this KVM switch for my son, who wanted to be able to use a laptop and desktop together, connected to 3 monitors (he normally uses 2). I imagined from the images that it would be a large device, but it’s around the size of a small-medium portable radio. We had to keep ordering new cables in order for it to set up as he wanted it to. He did get it set up, with extremely clear visual display/resolution, but it struggled to recognize some of the peripherals. He was impressed with the remote and with just being able to just the one button to switch between computers. Although it comes with cables, there always seemed to be more cables required.
