I received my composter today and set up was simple. Just wish there was better instructions as to what can go in the bin. There’s a small description but as a first time composter, a detained list of what not too and what to put in the Jin would be great.

I bought a different brand of composter before this one that broke in less than 30 days. I have had this one for a few months now. I run it every few days. It can handle 4 or so banana peels along with eggs or strawberry tops. I would not put many more bananas in there at one time because they are so wet and sticky. It sets the time needed by weight. Things generally come out dry and loose. The only time there was an issue with smell was when I used the longer compost with the lower heat. Since I am usually doing fruit peels, the smell is fruity when I can smell it.

I’ve been looking at indoor electric composters for over a year now and finally settled on getting one. This is a great product that works as advertised and is a better value compared to more well-known models. Looks very sleek and is very quiet while running. Easy to operate but make sure to read and keep the manual to know what can be composted and at what quantities. Average runtime is 6 hours and the quality of the compost is great. The 2 activated charcoal filters make sure there are no funky smells. Just know that it does get hot so you’ll need to let it rest for at least an hour after it finishes a cycle.

It showed up on time and has worked beautifully. I am glad I purchased it and enjoy getting the garbage turned into compost for the garden.
