These wicks appear to perform well at first, but I don't think I'm getting the performance time duration of the wicks that came with the original product. That could be an unnoticeable change in my water supply or a difference in wick material. Either way, I am considering changing humidifier technology to a sonic type that does not require purchasing wick replacements every few weeks.

I am using these in a Vornado Evap40. These do fit inside of this humidifier but they do not wick the water nearly as well as the vornado ones. There is some savings to be had purchasing these but in the end it makes the humidifier less efficient.
