I've been using these frequently in my cooler to ferry frozen foods back and forth, and they work well. They don't stay cold for a full eight hours, but I usually only need them a couple of hours at a time, and they do the job. Their light weight makes my cooler easier to carry, and their thin, compact construction allows me to place them strategically around the food to keep it cold. They've worn well despite getting banged around a bit, and the price, $2.50 each at the time of this review, is reasonable for the quality.

These ice packs are small but effective. They freeze solid and are thin enough to fit into just about any lunch bag or small cooler. For larger bags you will likely want to use multiple ice packs. They've been convenient and have not leaked or really even been marred yet.

These are good ice packs that fit all our lunch boxes but there is nothing overly special about them to be almost double(currently $20) the price of a standard 4 pack of lunch ice packs.

These are thinner than most of the reusable ice packs, which makes them great for putting one or two in your lunchbox, and with the two holes in the middle, they freeze up faster so you can re-use them sooner.I throw two of them in my igloo lunchbox, along the sides and they keep everything inside cool without taking up much space. I have used them about a week now, and they are quite sturdy. They have fallen out of the freezer onto the floor while frozen solid, and did not crack, even with that kind of abuse. You can tell that some thought went into the design and materials used, including the gel inside, which seems to stay cold plenty long enough for my lunchbox purposes.That being said, you get a bunch of them and if you are cooling down more than just a lunch, you'll have what you need. 5 starts for novel design and durability.
