The lip is not tall enough hits the rocker panel seam. For comparison the $75 ones with metal are much taller and clear the rocker panel

Doesn't specifically say in description, but does fit 2005 - 2008 997, possibly 2009-2012 as well. Must have tool if you're jacking up your 911 at the recommended jack points. Simply slip this pad into it's hole and twist. Then, jack your 911 up, place your jackstand, repeat 3 more times! The oval shape of the connecting point squeezes in and keeps the puck in place. When you're done, simply twist out. Even includes a nice carrying case.

Bought these for my Porsche 911 so I could jack up the car without damage. Feels to be good quality and comes in a nice case to keep them together. Very pleased with the purchase.
