If you are a restaurant manager, buy a set of these as backup for your servers so that if they forget their wine key, they have to use one of these for the whole shift. No one will ever forget their wine key again.

I have been using a blade opener for years, but a couple of nights ago a friend sent the cork into the bottle instead of extracting it. When it was only partially down, we looked through all of my kitchen drawers for a screw type opener to possible salvage the situation, but none were to be found. So I found these pretty little guys on Amazon and ordered, since I like to have both styles around.They are well described, but I will add that I hope their durability lives up to that promised. They do not strike me as professional quality if depended on to open bottle after bottle, and I worry that the screw attachment will fail. That being said, I really have no reason at this point to remove any stars. I love the colors, and plan on keeping them in various places (car, kitchen, picnic basket) so I always have one available.

I love the bright colors. It’s lightweight and very functional. I’m leaving one in my travel bag so when I travel I’ll have something to open up bottles of beer or wine. I like the little knife to cut the seal off the wine bottles.
