Although these air horns can be used to provide safety in a boating environment, my main use for them will be as a deterrent against animals and nosy people while I'm in my stealth camper van. They are plenty loud to attract attention while driving unwanted people and critters away. I like that they are individually packaged and can easily be stored before using. I also like that 4 air horns and two whistles are included at a reasonable price.

They are the loudest air horns I have ever used. I would use them for emergency signaling or to scare a bear but not for fun. My arm is not long enough to keep my ears safe and when I tested this my ears were ringing for hours.
