I was really disappointed in the volume of this horn. It was supposed to be very loud....it is not. I consider it a mistake.

I purchased this horn as a replacement for one that had gone bad. I hooked the horn up to the previous wiring and it gave one good, loud blast before not working at all. The horn would just click and put out no sound. I ordered a different horn from a different seller, hooked it up, and it works fine. So, I sent the Seachoice 14501 back to the seller and they only refunded me half of the original cost stating that the item wasn't defective despite the fact that it didn't work. The seller stated that all items are tested for 48 hours before being put up for sale, so there is a possibility it could've been damaged in shipping. I contacted the seller, they said it was tested and not defective, and they stated that I wired it incorrectly even though I have a working horn from a different seller. If you purchase one of these and it is defective, don't expect a full refund.
