Cuts easily. The ceramic box cutter I had previously had a very short blade and did not work as well. I like that the surface is not hard. The indentations make it fit easily in my hand.

THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM AMAZON. It is 100% FRAUD!!! The blade on this box cutter is smaller than half of the length of my pinky fingernail… YOU LITERALLY COULD NOT OPEN A LETTER WITH THIS PIECE OF $!&!….THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE SUED

This is a GREAT ceramic box cutter to use on all your packages, boxes or any mail you may have. I was using the "Slice" ceramic box cutter brand for a few years and it was my most handy tool on the refrigerator but it has recently been misplaced and I decided to try this model/brand and I like it EVEN MORE! This has BETTER magnets and really stays on your fridge. I absolutely like this model better and glad I decided to give it a try. You will be hooked with these ceramic openers. It safe to have around for kids and even for your own safety! They really open things so well! It is diminutive in size, but a real workhorse. For me having it handy with magnets to attach is a game changer. Great price for what will be one of your favorite tools. Don't hesitate to get one!

This is super convenient. I use it for all my packages now. Works better than you'd think it would. And because the plastic blade doesn't stick out too much, I'm less likely to accidentally cut the items in my boxes.
