This4-piece Christmas Stocking Holders for Mantle Stocking Hangers did the job this past Christmas season. They are really strong and adorable and held up the stockings I had up on our mantle. Of course it is expected not to put an overload of things in the stocking for it to fall. It has a good heft to it and feels and appears to be well-made and a good quality. No gripes here.

I thought I would give these a try and switch up how I hang my mantle decor. These hangers became very frustrating to the point where I stopped using them. It can’t handle a whole lot of weight and if you have something like Garland, it’s an exercise and frustration trying to get them on the hooks. If you were intent is to hang something light or simple then these are just fine, but I wouldn’t count on these to be a solution for most applications.

I didn't have enough stocking hangers and my old set are just a few strips of metal bent at some angles, and I find that the slightest tap the wrong way will have them falling off the mantle. So I wanted my next set to have more heft to them so they stay in place. Well these definitely do the job! Of course, knock them off and you better hope they don't land on your foot, but I don't have little kids in the house anyway so I'm not worried about that. Even with the weight they are pretty low profile so they don't block anything on the mantle and I was able to mostly hide them with garland anyway. The black actually blends right into our black mantle anyway, so these are perfect for our needs and will definitely hold full stockings with no issues!

There is not one thing that I dislike about these stocking holders. This is my third attempt at finding a holder that would stay on top of my mantle, even with an empty stocking! I'm so glad I found these before I gave up entirely on having my stockings hung by the chimney with care.These are nice, solid metal, and heavy. The craftmanship is of good quality and the finish is blemish free. I like that they are low profile allowing for a simple, modern look or for the holders to blend in seamlessly with your decorations. The color blends in perfectly with my black mantle.I was worried that when I added the goodies to my stocking it would surely tip as I had no luck in the past. My fears were unwarranted. This little holder held everything without even a tilt.

These hangers are great for our mantle, which has a lot of holiday decorations including a bushy pine garland -- so our stocking hangers need to be low profile yet stable. These work really well in this regard -- the pad is weighted, with a non-scratch velvety backing so as not to damage the wood mantle, They tuck nicely under the garland and peek out oh so discretely and cutely. Why four stars then? The hooks are too pliable -- as in, my not very strong hands can easily bend them. This doesn't bode well in case of heavy stockings, long-term use, or just plain life. If the hooks were more solid, these would be perfect.

These came in all black material. They are thick and heavy. Heavy enough that if you dropped them from adult height on your toe, it might bruise or break a toe. I thought the velvet on the bottom, although thin, should stand up for quite some time. Afterall, the items are going to be placed in one area for an extended amount of time, not moved across my banisters. They hold the stockings exceptionally well and haven't shifted since I put them up.
