It works, but the overall the tip of the bit wobble, and they are not sharp. The bits that came are METRIC, so installing similar inch type of bit they do not fill the socket hole and wobble too. Overall an inch type bit wobble less that the ones supply with the devices.This self centering drill bits are great only to make the mark, and use another regular bit to drill the hole.It might be smart to buy the metric ones, and be able to replace the bits with good metric ones.Once those bits break/ stop working you can not, those odd metric replacement (like 4.2mm)

Great product and I would certainly purchase again. They functioned as designed. They are shipped in a anti-corrosion coating which should be removed prior to use, otherwise shaving stick and prevent the spring from pushing the sleeve back into position.

Works great for aligning screws. I know you don't really need this but so much easier and faster and centered.
