This is a fun set and a sure way to keep your child engaged for some time! My kids especially love craft activities, and this is a perfect choice to provide lots of fun while also honing their fine motor skills and attention to detail.The sewing kit comes with everything you need to sew the animal on the felt, and then stitch the cloth together to make a small bag! The needle is plastic, so it is safe for children as young as 3. This is a great project to introduce the concept of sewing, and having a small bag at the end can add to the sense of accomplishment as well.

This is fun to do with kids and it's a good learning activity for 6 year olds. The fuzzy yarn is very soft! The instructions are clear too. We found it easier to make the faces first, and then make the body of the bag. It's a bit harder for a younger kid to thread the needle since the ends of the yarn are frayed, but it's not hard for an adult. After a bit of guidance, some kids can do it on their own, or some may need a bit more help, but the holes are easy to find and pull yarn through. For an impatient younger kid, it may take 2 sessions to finish. Overall the designs are cute and it's a pretty good value since there are 4 bags included. Either one kid could do all 4, or 4 kids could have a crafting session together.
