I have had this for a year and it is still not assembled. Several of us adults have tried to sew it together with no success. In my opinion it is not possible for a child to put together. It is very cute but it is shoved in a drawer waiting for someone to put together.

Loved this craft. Best part it sings alot of songs and lights up. Very creative . Perfect for a child you loves to do crafts or wants to learn to sew. Great value for your money, size is good like a small stuffed animal . Quality is good, colors are pretty . Took my daughter and i 2 days to build , is definatly not a quick project. My daughter is 7 very interested in the unicorn. Highly reccomend

My 5 year old niece loves it and is able to put it together with a little help. She definitely loves the lights and sounds. The material is also soft.

This was my childs favorite gift received at her 6th birthday party...sewing it was beyond her and not my highest skill, but it's much loved and made an awesome gift. We've already given it to others.

Got this for my 6yo for Christmas. She loved being able to sew the unicorn together and create a toy for herself. There were some areas that I needed to help her with as the fabric was a little too thick for her to push the needle through, but for the most part, she completed it on her own! There are pre-punched guide holes that help direct where some of the buttons and decorations go as well, which makes following the pattern really simple. Would recommend!

What a great way to get little ones interested in crafting & sewing. The unicorn design is intricate enough to not be too plain, yet simple enough for an adult to do. Do not get this thinking that a 3-5 year old will likely complete this project in their own (results may vary).The instructions are thorough but some of the stitch-path images are tough to follow. Also, the felt pieces must be cut out of the felt sheets. These pattern pieces are mostly pre-cut but do require each and every little piece be cut away from the sheets. This is tedious grown-up work and may be challenging for small, unsteady hands.ALMOST everything needed to complete this project is included. I say ALMOST because there isn’t enough thread. Each instruction has a recommended thread length to cut, in centimeters, for each stitch. We got about half way through the project when we ran out of yellow thread! Super disappointing for a 6-year old who was finally getting the hang of stitching. The worst part is, most of the recommended thread lengths are too long and a lot of thread is wasted. I recommend taking all of the thread colors to your local craft store and doubling down on the amount of thread.Once we had the thread we needed we were able to complete the Unicorn.m, and I must say the finished product is really awesome and worth the time and effort it took to get there. Now we’re keeping our fingers crossed that our stitches stand the test of time.
