These are fun little skeins, but they are little. I don’t think I would want to mix and match for the same project, but it is great yarn for a beginner to practice with. The yarn is single ply so it makes great yarn when you are starting out. You could use them for dishcloths or other such things. I’m just disappointed that they don’t match better, and are smaller than I expected. But again easy to use and work with particularly when you don’t have much experience with crochet or knitting.

This is a great yarn for teaching someone (especially a kid) how to crochet or knit because there aren't any strands that can separate as in traditional yarn. Would be great for use in amigarumi or as a dishrag or coaster. The set comes with really nice stitch markers and a good hook (although I prefer inline hooks). There isn't a whole lot of yarn per skein, but for small projects for a beginner, it is a really great set!
