I mistakenly reflowed a panel of eight BGAs in the wrong orientation, leaving reballing as my only option. I used 0.5mm balls, and the process worked perfectly, saving all eight expensive BGAs. It just takes patience!

I'm still an amateur at doing electronic soldering but a friend gave me her sons high school soldering gear and these are really nicely portioned solder beads for circuit boards. Basically a lifetime supply as well unless you're running a factory of some kind.

I'm getting into working with surface mount devices. I wanted some solder balls, so I thought I would give this set a try. Excellent choice. These solder balls are well made out of good quality material. The set comes with five different sizes of balls. Unless you have really good eyes, I would suggest working with a digital microscope, because these are tiny. Melts well. Highly recommend. 5 stars.
