Ever since we put in our wooden fence we've had issues with the gates. First the fence post warped so we had to keep adjusting the gate. Then the hinges started sagging and the gate would drag across the ground. I got tired of making adjustments and finally thought of casters. These are perfect - they are wide enough to not sink into the ground, spin easily, and the spring is more than strong enough to hold the weight of the gate.Installation was simple using the included bolts. The only issue I had was I got one that was a little too tall, but it still works, just higher up on the gate than I'd have liked (measure twice, order once should be my new motto). Overall I could not be more satisfied.

They should have tested this before selling. I had to shim these out in order for them to not rub against my fence. Other than that, they work

It’s not a very heavy duty wheel and the spring is pretty light too. It won’t support a lot of weight but it might be good to help support a lighter gate that needs just a little help.
