Review of B0F3DF92MP - LBOKLING 5 Inch Micro Flush Cutter, 2 Pack:I repair vintage motherboards which involves replacing through-hole components, soldering the leads and clipping off the leads close to the circuit board. These micro flush cutters are perfect for that. I also use them for various other cutting tasks. Keep in mind they are designed for precision cutting of fine gauge soft wires, such as copper. Trying to cut steel wire or large gauge wire will damage them quickly.I already have a relatively expensive high-end micro flush cutter which works great, but I wanted to have a spare and another to keep in my travel repair bag. These fit that bill. I did a side-by-side comparison between these cutters and my expensive cutter which looks almost the same. I repeatedly clipped the end off of a length of 26 gauge insulated solid copper wire. Both my expensive cutters and these worked almost equally, but there was a little difference -- each time I cut with these the small piece of wire would go flying across the room, but the piece would just drop with my expensive cutters. I don't know what to attribute that to, but my guess is that indicates the expensive one is sharper. Otherwise, they were equally effective. A great tool at the price, especially so for two.

This good quality cutter has sharp flush cutting teeth that easily cut through light metal, plastic, and any other soft material you might be using in your projects. They have a quality feel in your hand with zero slop between the spring-loaded handles. The soft grips are nice and thick and feel good when lining up your cut and squeezing them. This cutter is great for flush cutting all kinds of things. They cut through zip-ties like nothing. Got a hangnail? No problem. I tried them out on small gauge copper wire and soldered pins on a circuit board. All nicely cut. This is a great value with two cutters in the package.

For the price, this is a nice little pair of snips. The shape of the cutter mouth is good, you'll get a nice flush cut from them. The spring on them is pretty nice, they bounce open as soon as you release pressure on the handles. Are these going to be your permanent flush cutters for your toolkit? No, definitely not. They don't feel like they'll last long, and honestly the handles are not very comfortable. But for this dirt cheap price, they'll make for handy backup cutters in a pinch to keep around just in case.

Reasonably happy with these cutters. They don't seem like the hardest ones I have and do struggle a bit with thick copper (as in like 12ga house wiring…) but they do get through even that. So for smaller stuff and trimming little stuff like plastics/filament no problem! And a fair bit LESS than $5 as the price right now seems like a great value for a pretty decent set of two 👍

These cutters have worked on all of the materials that I have tested them on. They do quite nicely with soft wire, where I have used them on up to 20 gauge with no difficulties, as well as basic household electrical wire. I have even tested them successfully on a thin piece of guitar wire, though I would not make a habit of this. They work on thin plastic like the styrene sprues from model kits or the flat styrene plastic that yard signs are made from. They are great for cutting PLA filament for a 3D printer, or trimming supports from resin prints. These are basically perfect tools for a makerspace or other creative craft environment.

I have wanted close cut nippers like that for some time now. I'm very pleased with the quality of the materials, the design, and the grip of these close-edge cutters. I like trying my hand at making jewelry, as well as other crafts that occasionally require some close cutting, for which these will be a huge help. Both pair are sharp enough to cut all of the materials I've tried them on so far, including stretchy nylon, small wire, and jewelry cord. I can't imagine any project I might try, for which these little nippers wouldn't perform extremely well. I'm certainly happy with them.

These micro flush cutters are a great bargain considering you get 2 cutters. They came in a plastic case with covers for the blades. They work great for soft materials but aren't made for hard wire or hard metal. But for most uses around the home or on the job they perform well and seem like they will last a long time if they aren't abused.

My wife uses these in her crafting projects. They're sharp and the jaws fit together with precision, making them a very effective tool.
