I ordered these cherry wood chips to turn an inexpensive Blanco Tequila into a rich tasting Cherry Wood Reposado in just a few days time and it works great! I don't use these Cherry Chips with a drink smoker but I make even better tasting drinks and can flavor a large amount of Tequila in just a few days time. I start by placing a tray of the Cherry Wood Chips in a small toaster oven at 250F for about 1 hour which turns the chips a little darker color. I then put a couple of palms full of the toasted chips in a jar with a wide mouth and pour the low cost Blanco Tequila into the jar until it is full. Give it about 4 to 5 days to "age" and you have a nice tasting Cherry Reposado which tastes great in comparison to what it was made from and it has a wonderful color to boot. I'm sure this would work great in a drink smoker too!

These cherry wood chips smell amazing and add such a nice, smooth flavor to my cocktails, especially Old Fashioneds. The smoke isn’t too overpowering — just enough to give that perfect bar-style touch at home. The chips are dry and light up easily with my smoker. Great quality in a small bag that goes a long way. Definitely a fun way to impress guests or elevate your evening drink!

Have never had a smoked alcoholic drink. Eventually I'll get around to trying it but the reason I ordered these wood chips is to smoke pork. Been looking for a small pork loin but all I'm finding is boneless pork chops in my small Texas town. I need a cut much thicker that won't dry out. I've had smoked pork loin before. It was excellent but I don't remember what wood was used to smoke it. However, my research tells me that cherry wood works well with pork.There's enough wood chips in this package to smoke 1000 drinks so I'll be able to smoke many loins of pork once I find a market that sells what I need.

These GIHOP Cherry Wood Chips for Smoking are excellent! I use them in both my manual and electric cocktail smoker's and they work great. They are the perfect size chips for the purpose, and burn easily, but steadily. Cherry Wood is my favorite wood chips to use for smoking my Maple Old Fashioned cocktails, and the smoke from these chips have a great flavor. The chips are nice and fresh. The box they come in has a nice tight seal to keep the humidity out. The box came with a nice, simple metal spoon to measure out the chips, which is useful and a nice touch. I had been using a small spoon made for scooping loose leaf tea for quite awhile, but the spoon that came with this box of chips is actually a bit better because it is smaller and easier to fill, having no sides.I can absolutely recommend these GIHOP Cherry Wood Chips for Smoking. They are perfect for smoking cocktails and the price point is very reasonable...5 ounces of chips will smoke a lot of drinks!I happily give it a Full 5 Stars!

I bought these cherry chips to smoke whiskey drinks, and they deliver a fantastic flavor! The first package arrived broken and spilled all over the box, which was disappointing. However, the second one came in perfect condition, and there’s a good amount of chips included. I also appreciate the spoon that comes with it—definitely a nice touch. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars due to the initial packaging issue, but the quality of the chips is solid!
