These breadboard power modules are pretty nice. The PCB and components look well-made and have manual functions to change between 5v and 3v3 rails with a jumper. There is a spare power header on the top that is useful for extra components. The barrel jack successfully took a 9v and 12v power supply and correctly dropped the voltage to the selected value. The power switch on the board is nice, don't have to un-plug the power source just to get wiring done and makes it super simple. The USB-A female port on the board is nice for powering things that can be powered via USB (like an ESP32, RPi Pico, Arduino). The header pins for the breadboard side are standard spacing for the 2x5 power rails on the outer edges of the breadboard, and they fit correctly without having to force anything due to measurements being wrong. Haven't tested these to their maximum yet, but they've powered some larger projects to include stepper motors and controllers, WS2812b LED strips and their controllers without having power dip issues (yet).

I bought this pack of power modules thinking I'd finally get around to building that robot bartender I've always dreamed of. Now my workbench looks like a sci-fi movie set, with blinking lights and wires going everywhere. These modules are perfect for my MB102 prototype boards, and they handle both DC 6.5-12V and USB power sources which is nice cause that means that you can probably find a spare power cord laying somewhere and use that to power them. I can switch between 3.3V and 5V outputs, which is great because I never remember what voltage my components need until I smell something burning.I've used them to power everything from LED arrays to microcontrollers. They're reliable, compact, and make me feel like I know what I'm doing, even when I don't.If you're into electronics and enjoy the occasional spark (intentional or not), these modules are a solid addition to your toolkit.I'm even using one to power a programmable horn that I built by watching YouTube tutorials.
