The ozone generator initially looks well made. However, the amount of ozone generated does not even come close to the specifications given. As ozone smells very strong, you can clearly smell it even in the smallest quantities. With this generator you smell almost nothing. If you then look at the ceramic plates (there are only two small ones), it becomes clear why the information cannot be correct. I have another ozone generator that only produces half as much ozone according to the data sheet, and it has four ceramic plates that are much larger.The information on the amount of ozone produced is therefore fake.

This device has disinfected an apartment that had been closed for 6 months. A dog used to live in the apartment, and of course, it would lie on all the furniture. Over the time it was closed, the apartment started to smell stale and became contaminated with many bacteria. A dog and carpet mean constant cleaning is required. Even the air conditioning and heating smelled extremely bad when turned on. After 6 months of being closed, I tried to solve the bad odor by airing out the apartment for several days, but it didn’t work. I bought this ozone machine and set it to run for 120 minutes. The difference was noticeable overnight. I then decided to repeat the process for a week straight with the A/C fan running. Everything was purified, including the ducts. All the bad odors disappeared, even from the carpets.I highly recommend this device for the health of your family. Everyone should use it for disinfection once a week to stay free from pathogens such as parasites, viruses, fungi, and bacteria. EXCELLENT…!!! Highly recommended. Very powerful.

This thing emits a particular smell which I didn't realized before getting it. I proceeded to check more information and yes, it seems it is fairly normal for these ozone generators. It requires to remove foods, animals, and everyone to leave the room while it is in operation, and close all windows and doors, and after the treatment is completed, to open the windows, doors, and put some ventilation fans to then after, proceed to enter the room to check if there's some smell. I used to smoke plus the room was fairly humid for a while (before getting some dehumidifiers), and this helped to remove some of the smells around the room. Make sure to clean the room and the possible sources of the room's smells before running this ozone generator to improve its effectiveness. I feel like by itself it is not a perfect solution, but in combination with some fans and some previous cleaning, it helped reduce the room's smells. I believe it is an ok investment.

I used this to help get the smell of cigarette smoke out of my friends car. It did significantly decrease the smell

Fundementally the engineering of this is ok, however the quality control sucks. My unit arrived and I tested it, controls and fan worked, but no distinctive ozone smell. I needed this for water disinfectant but the air pump was not working on water mode either. I thought about just sending it back but decided to check it out because often things like this are wiring issues. Sure enough when I open the case and checked all of the connections, one connector was only half way on and another had the wires completely pulled out, replaced wiring and retested, unit was again functional.

Bought it for this higher price since it was advertised as running continuously for 24 hours...only runs for 90 min increments. Send back!!I'd give it zero stars if that was an option.Really don't like the false advertising.
