These are just as good as some of the other off brand hooks out there. There not Owner hooks but they're not junk either. They are a little on the flexible side but should work just fine for freshwater fish. I don't think they're gonna hold a big musky or pike, but for bass they're just fine

These compare to the Gamakatsu Offset Shank Worm EWG. I show both in the photo and they are nearly identical. I've bought hooks from FishTrip in the past and they are high quality, and these too are terrific.The Gamakatsu's are considered the best Bass fishing hooks and these may be better. They are a heavier gauge wire so much stronger, although they will sink at a faster rate. And what a price.

I go through a lot of EWG hooks, so I like to keep plenty around.For this hook, I opted for 3/0 as these are the most common EWG size I use for Bass.The first thing I noticed is how consistent the hooks are. I checked dozens of the 100 that came in this pack and they are very uniform - which is great. The wire is of a heavy gauge with a flattened profile. It is strong and does not bend even under considerable pressure. The wire has a nice amount of spring to it to give me great confidence in using it.The point is sharp, not sticky sharp but sharp. In an EWG I don't want sticky sharp as it will dull easily, I want enough material at the point to take a little abuse and stay pointy. The eye is closed nicely as well.All enclosed in a plastic tray, for $15 this is a great deal.

Absolutely not what I ordered these will not work for super fluke fresh water fishing, wasted time and not gonna order this crap again more like hooks for bait fishing nor bass fishing !!!
