Al's tradition is strong. The Goldfish lures are still individually hand-painted. All the gold lures are extremely shiny. They are then finished with high quality components, so you never have to replace hooks and rings. All of Al’s Goldfish products are proudly made in the USA.

Al's manufactures other high quality lures, including configurations for ice fishing, saltwater, bottom fishing and accessories like Baiting Needles, Fly Eyelets, Trolling Rigs and Hook Bonnets, our hook bonnets are made in the USA.

These lock my hooks in place to prevent a tangled mess, snagging everything and from getting stabbed by the hooks. The Chicom versions are poor quality because they are mixed quality and often don't lock hooks in place. Get these USA made ones.

Ordered blue and green and they were both perfect fits for my assortment of lures. American made to which is nice for a change. Quality is very good and they do the job of protecting my hooks.

Let me put it straight, the quality is best. I am hobbyist hand made fishing lure maker and this was the first time I purchased. The size is perfect for VMC treble hook 3/4, they fix snug. Further, taking it out requires technique, just try to remove from one side it will come out from other two sides at the same time without self hooking. Will buy it again, recommended for size 3/4 VNC.Thanks

Have used these for years in my jerk baits and crankbaits. Helps prevent tangled hooks in the tackle box and prevent hook sticks to your fingers when handling your lures. Protects hook points and helps keep them sharp. Work especially well on the sharp hooks of jerk baits.

Definitely give these a try. Finally, hook bonnets that actually work as shown (watch their video) and needed. I bought the 60pc assorted size (S, M, L) pack and found the three assorted sizes worked with every treble hook size in my tackle box. There might be a treble hook size or two out there that might not work with these, but they don't claim to fit all sizes. They'll fit most. You can also put them on single hook lures if you get creative. I can't tell you how many competitive brand hook bonnets I've bought or been given that simply fall off the hooks. I've tossed all of my old one's and switching everything over to my new hook bonnets from Al's Goldfish Lure Co. I will be buying more.

If you have more than two lures with treble hooks, you'll appreciate these. No more tangled up lures and the fun of untangling them just so you can do it again. Be careful removing these. There is a trick to it so you don't impale your finger. I use a fingernail to start one side close to the shank of the hook. Once it pops off the two closest hooks, it's easily removed from the third.

Wish they were one size larger, and that they had a pull tab near the open end in one of the 'crotches'. Makes getting them off so much eaiser.

I bought these a few months ago. I chose them over competing products because they got good reviews and I prefer American companies all things being equal (I checked, they are registered in Maine). I've been very happy with them and will purchase more.Pros:- Keeps lures from tangling in your tackle box- Prevents you from stabbing yourself- Plastic/manufacturing quality seems good. The plastic is a reasonable thickness and isn't brittle. The sizing of the bonnets was consistent and I didn't see any flashing or malformed bonnets in my pack.Neutral:- Maybe it's just me, but I typically don't think in hook sizes for my lures. Most of my lures are small (1/4 - 1/16 ounce spoons and spinners), and I used all the smalls and mediums in the multi-pack, but almost none of the larges. The larges did fit the 5/8 ounce spoons I had. Just keep in mind the sizes of your lures if buying a multi-pack.- By virtue of these having mass, you'll be able to fit a lure or two less in each compartment of your tackle box if you like to put multiple lures in a single utility box compartment.Cons:- As noted, the bonnets can be tight when using near the max size hook for a given bonnet, making them difficult to remove by hand. I found that my hooks would often fit both the small and medium bonnets; the small would fit very tightly and the medium would fit loosely. I preferred the looser fit so it was easier to remove the bonnets. If the bonnets fit tightly, I recommend using a pair of pliers to remove the bonnet. Shove one jaw of the pliers in the little hole in the bottom, then grip the bonnet and pull it straight off. This didn't harm the bonnet and prevented me from stabbing myself trying to pry the bonnet off with my hands.

Si no usas estos bonnets, o de otra marca, seguramente tú caja de pesca es un desastre. Nada como una caja bien ordenada para dedicarle más tiempo a pescar.
