Using these on some 706 heads…. A they seem to do alright as well last if you are not using them to grind with. They are a polishing aid. Will remove some imprecations as well help you shape your task into a final product. Would buy again as well a set that’s lower in grit stages. Though the 600 grit does good on the combustion chambers they are short so you’ll need something to get in around the valve bosses but these are a inch long just leave a small window on LS heads you can’t reach.

This set of buffing wheels is highly effective and durable, making it excellent for sanding and polishing tasks. A color-coded reference label for grit selection would have been a helpful addition. The wheels perform well and maintain their integrity through multiple uses, offering reliable results for various projects.

I restore vintage and antique sewing machines. Someone in our group recommended these polishing disks for cleaning the bright metal and chrome pieces. So I tried them. They work really well for getting into all the little spots for pieces that can be removed and pieces that I don’t remove from the machines. They are my go-to metal cleaning and polishing tool.Do be careful though, as the pieces are plated, so if you get too carried away you might polish through the plate to the copper. Ask me how I know. Lol.I do recommend these. This set has a nice variety of grit. They don’t last for long though. So they do a good job, but you’ll need a lot of them.
