Great for polishing and cleaning! These 2-inch scouring pads are durable and efficient. The 1/4" shank fits most drills, making them easy to use. Perfect for scrubbing and surface cleaning.I am grateful and thankful.I hope this finds you well and thank you kindly for reading.

These are perfect for what they are made for. NOTE: they are buffing (for polishing) wheels NOT sanding wheels (for taking off large layers). As long as you are aware of that they work perfectly.-They came in well packaged in a box and in perfect shape.-They seem well made and sturdy, not coming apart easily.-They easily attach to a drill/ drill press and sure cut down on time and strain from polishing by hand.-So far they are holding up really well and have not fallen apart even after several uses.If you are looking for an easier way to polish things that do not eat through fine paper these are a great alternative.

These buffing wheels are great for light polishing and surface cleanup, but don’t expect them to handle heavy rust or paint removal. They work well for buffing out minor rust spots and refining finishes without damaging surrounding areas. If you’re trying to strip a surface down aggressively, these won’t do the trick—but if you need to smooth out imperfections or clean up delicate areas, they’re solid.I tested them on metal and found they did a decent job on surface rust, though they required more effort compared to a stripping disc or sandpaper. They’re closer in texture to a 3M scrub pad than a grinding wheel, so they excel at polishing rather than abrasion. They also worked well for polishing tight areas on a motorcycle and smoothing out 3D prints. Using them with a drill is convenient, though they can be harder to control compared to a dedicated buffing tool. They held up well in a die grinder at high speeds, but they’re not meant for heavy-duty material removal.Overall, these are useful for the right applications—buffing metal, refining finishes, and getting into small spaces—but don’t expect them to replace more aggressive abrasives when serious material removal is needed.

I tested these wheels on the piece of steel shown in the photo to see if it could remove the surface rust. It did a passable job but required a lot more work than a paint stripping disc I used with my angle grinder or even a piece of 320 grit SiC sandpaper. The Amazon description variously describes these wheels as for buffing, grinding, removing burrs and more but those tasks normally require very different tools. These wheels are better suited to polishing or very light rust removal. Also, using them with a hand drill makes them hard to control compared to attachments for my motor tool.

These woven abrasive buffer wheels are well-made. These are basically a scrubbing pad on a drill bit. And when you attach them to a power tool they become a scrubbing pad on a drill bit on steroids. They make cleaning off or scrubbing small spaces and corners so much easier.I just stick mine on a regular power drill and drill away all the dirt and grime off of surfaces. There are certain places I normally have a hard time scrubbing by hand. Especially if it’s in a tight spot where I can’t get a lot of momentum to scrub. The rotating action makes it somuch easier and fast. Very happy with the quality and functionality of these abrasive buffing wheels!

When you work as a technician you'll need these. Many covers or oil pans on engines are sealed with sealant and not a gasket anymore nowadays and these do a great job cleaning that residual sealant off the contact surface without scratches or other damages. I like the curvature of the pads because you don't have to hold the drill at a specific angle to achieve a good result. I will keep buying these once mine are used up.
