My husband is a mechanic and has been for over 40 years. He has deemed this kit awesome and wished he’d have had such a thing YEARS ago. According to him, being able to press down and turn at the same time is the challenge with doing struts and this complete kit allows one to do this.The kit is solid and heavy and has every size you’d probably ever need, packed neatly into it’s own case.My husband says it’s a very good value for the money, telling me that similar kits are usually more than $100.Time will tell how long it lasts but, for the mechanics in my family, they are thrilled.

Even when you work with strut sockets, you still have to use L shaped allen keys to hold the rod and that can be challenging in itself. This is the most professional kit out there for strut replacement out there. It also adds a lot of stability to the whole process and I haven't seen that with any other setup.

So I am honestly amazed by this set!Usually I don't talk about value straight out of the gate, but I have to here.There are kits EXTREMELY similar (identical looking with all the same pieces) to this one and those kits are $110+. One of them is on sale right not for $98. I can't say they are the same as this because I can't comment on the quality of the others, but I seriously can't imagine they could possibly be better than this one! (If anything, they are the same quality or not as nice). When you put that into perspective, the $75 price tag on this is like winning the lotto!The set arrived QUICK, packed in an Amazon box that was covered in yellow 'Heavy' stickers.Inside, the blue case was completely sealed in plastic. The case is standard, plastic, and the latches are easy to open/shut and they actually stay locked shut.I knew as soon as I picked the case up that this was NOT one of those cheep, flimsy or budget sets- THIS is the REAL DEAL!When I opened the case, I immediately noticed the amount of care and attention that went into packing it. Every single bit was secured in the case (none fell out or were floating around) and every single one was placed carefully so the size engraving was visible. I don't think I have ever opened any tool set/kit like this where everything was packed as perfect as this was. I know that's a little drop of water in the bucket, but it tells me that the company takes pride in their tools, both how they are made and how they look. Now, we aren't always guaranteed to put them back as well as they were packed, but thankfully every single slot is labeled, with the size actually raised in the plastic. That helps tremendously with organization and it allows me to easily find the sizes and pieces I need, at a glance. There was a nice piece of foam set in the middle of the case, which prevented movement or scratches during transit and there was a glossy guide with warranty info placed right on top of that. Presentation was/is phenomenal.One thing I think we all do as humans is expect a crappy product (or a scam all together) when we see a price is too good to be true. With this being priced SO FAR BELOW any of the other sets (again, that look/seem identical), doubt is completely erased as soon as you open this up.The set weighs 16.54lbs. I know because I just weighed it with 3 different scales.I mention that because this isn't filled with cheep, flimsy, sockets that strip. Every. Single. Piece. in here is expertly constructed and incredibly durable! Each socket/bit easily slides onto the included ratchet (which itself is nice and hearty and comfortable to hold/use) and they stay put. I was surprised (and pleased) that the bits work with the 1/2" and 3/8" drive ratchets too. (I find it so annoying when companies make tools that don't play well with others and thankfully that's not the case here). Overall quality is spectacular.This set has A LOT! Actually is has everything!It is comprehensive and includes those 'random' sizes that the foreign car makers use.Toyota, Ford, Nissan and even Audi- covered!This is probably one of the best steals/deals I've ever found- to be honest.Is it worth $100? Heck yes it is! That's why getting for just $75 is blowing my mind right now.My guess, it won't stay this price for long, so get on it while you can!This

Appears to be a very complete kit, for any shock absorber installation. First kit I rec'd had a couple of duplicate items and a couple of corresponding items that were missing. Tool kit was promptly replaced and shipped.

Sometimes you get a new tool set and don't want to take it out to the garage. Maybe I could just display it in the china cabinet for a while? LOL. Seriously, this is a beautiful set, setup to give you all the fittings you need for shocks or struts. They gave thought to the layout to make this kit very functional and give you all the right sockets at your finger tips. With may kits I have to take each piece and oil to avoid rust, but these are all well oiled and ready to work. I am pleased with this set. This is an incredible value for the quality of this set.

Will probably do most shocks and struts that are out there. Bought this kit with the hope that it would work on Maserati shocks and it does perfectly. Just will not work on Skyhook shocks. Good value
