I wanted to build a black slatted wall for my studio and saw many videos on youtube on how to do it. Most all had people using a nail gun (which I don't have and wasn't going to buy one) and they would secure the slats with nails through the back on a 1/4 plywood board, or nail the slats from the front. From the back would require securing the slats with grips while they are nailed, which is a 2-person job. From the front would mean I would have to fill the nail hole with putty and sand down. Too much work. These were brilliant. I used the hollow nail driver to nail the short end into my slat ( I used 3 per slat). Then applied a special construction glue to the back of that slat and then I put my slat in place then banged it into the drywall. Quick, easy, and very easy to do.

What a great idea. Works like a charm. Wish I’d known about these years ago. So much easier.
