I got this beautiful clock for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. When I got the package, I was amazed at how heavy it was. The quality is very pretty high. The crystal/glass is very nice and the clock is decent, not the best quality... but still decent. The clock uses a single AA battery, which is not included. This clock comes in a nice box, although the box I got was crushed on one corner. The clock came in perfect condition depite the crushed box. It also came with a microfiber cloth and some kind of odd card and a bow, along with a sticker that said invitation. The etching is a bit hard to read, but placing it in front of a dark background makes it easier to read. The bottom is flat and smooth, but I added 4 felt dots on the bottom corners to prevent it from sliding around and to prevent scratching the furniture.Overall, I would say this is a good value for the money and would recommend it.

I got this 50th Anniversary Clock to share with my beautiful wife when we celebrate that special anniversary this summer. We have enjoyed celebrating the 50th anniversary of our first meeting at a university dance and are following our short courtship of 50 years ago through activities which help to bring those memories back into our minds and hearts.I love this clock. Partly for what it symbolizes and partly because of the simple beauty that it exudes. The crystal glass has incredible clarity. To help keep it looking it’s best they have provided a small microfiber cloth to wipe away fingerprints or oil residue should they occur. The clock itself feels a bit cheap in comparison to the quartz glass but it is a simple quartz timepiece that is easy to set, powered by an AA battery ( not included) and is silent.Quiet is nice. One thing that annoys me is the tic-tic-tic of a clock or keyboard, or this iPad as I am writing this review. The only thing that disappointed me was that there are no isolation pads on the bottom. Just smooth glass. I had expected some thin felt or silicone bumpers to just help isolate it from a display shelf, piano top or wherever it may end up. Mostly to prevent scratches but also to help it have more stability. I did add a small square rubber pad that I had on hand to each corner for my peace of mind. The base is pretty narrow or shallow for the height and I would have liked an additional half inch depth on the base for added stability as well, however this probably wouldn’t get tipped over unless the whole piece is really bumped or shifted. We have some close friends that just celebrated their 50th, so we got one of these special Anniversary pieces for them as well.

This is a nice clock. A good size does it take a lot of room? The only fallback is the lettering does not stand out very well. I've been so tempted to send it back because of that they need to make a change there.
