I needed some rivets but was not sure what size or length to get yet. This kit has a bunch of sizes to select from. The larger the rivet the less quantity you get. I happened to need the larger ones but still hand more than enough to finish the job. I now have a bunch or rivets to use on other projects.I recommend this kit if you have different projects or do not know what size you need starting out. This kit will have you covered.

This is a nice assortment of aluminum blind rivets with steel mandrels in a decent box with nice labels on both sides of the lid. I found the 3/32” and 1/4” sizes to be outside the limits of my old POP rivet gun, but my old gun was only designed for 1/8” and 3/16” rivets.I found the rivet head sizes to conform to the advertised SAE standards, but the diameters of the mandrels of these rivets don’t and are considerably smaller than my old rivets. Though not the correct size mandrels, they will likely work in most cases. I should be able to use the 1/8, 5/32, and 3/16” sizes with the two heads my gun has.

I usually only keep two sizes of rivets on hand but sometimes I need a different size. It’s nice to have a variety of sizes on hand. I don’t use a lot of rivets, but it’s important to have them on hand in case you need one for a spot where a screw won’t work. This is a low-cost insurance policy to have on hand for when you need them.

I received the rivet set in a plastic box that doesn't seem very sturdy, however, the rivets themselves come in a variety of sizes and lengths to suit whatever need you may have. Not a bad price either, considering what you would pay at Ace, or one of the big box hardware stores for a much smaller quantity.

Nice kit. Decent assortment of sizes. All the ones I've used so far have worked flawlessly. I haven't noticed any considerable difference between these and the ones I buy at the store down the street.

I have several packages of pop rivets in my shop. When I need a rivet, I find myself digging through a bin of small, jumbled packages of rivets. It takes almost as long to find the correct rivet as it does to actually use one!The assortment of aluminum pop rivets has many common sizes that you'll need for a number of metalworking tasks. They appear to be of good quality - and it is certainly easy to find the size you need in the multi-compartment storage container.

These are 14 different sizes and they are all SAE in sizes 3/32"x1/4", 3/32"x 5/16", 1/8"x 1/4", 1/8"x 5/16", 1/8"x 3/8", 1/8"x 1/2", 5/32"x 3/8", 5/32"x 1/2", 3/16"x 5/16", 3/16"x 3/8", 3/16" x 1/2", 3/16"x 5/8", 1/4" x 3/8", 1/4"x 1/2". The first number is the diameter of the rivet and the second number is the length of the body of the rivet. What is amazing is there are 510 rivets in that small box. I will admit I will never use them all but having the right size is worth it's weight in gold. I have riveted thousands of things and I would rather put a pop rivet in more than a a self tapping screw as there is a lot more work but it is hard to pull apart anything that has been riveted. This a good assortment of rivets. They will go into my bare drawer of rivets as I will always use them when I want something to stay. It is a good deal and I hope this helps.

Updated: to reflect use on aluminum boat.I use rivets for all sorts of things, and usually for non-metal things. I just used these rivets to create a leather blade guard for my felling axe. In fact, I used them to replace the failed rivets I used that I bought at a big box store. I've also used rivets to reattach straps to my Scout's bikini top, fix game camera straps, and repair the holding straps on my tree blind. I have great plans for these rivets.Most recently, I used these rivets to attach an aluminum reinforcing bar onto a Lone Star aluminum boat, and to fill in extraneous drill holes, and they worked perfectly. The different lengths came in very handy.I have an Arrow rivet tool with various sized tips, and these rivets perform well.The only reason I gave these rivets 4 stars is that the kit did not come with appropriately sized washers, which must be used when riveting non-metal items.Recommended.
