Gave this 2 stars because while it looks nice, the quality just isn’t there. The handle is super lightweight, and the metal lock bent easily, definitely not what I’d expect for an exterior door. It feels more like an interior knob in terms of sturdiness. Wouldn’t trust it for front or entrance doors.

I am a landlord and have two tenants in a house that don't get along. One tenant claims she thinks the other is going in her room when she's not home. To solve this dilemma I ordered this lock set to install on her bedroom door. The lock looks very nice and is sturdy so she should be happy.I have installed numerous lock sets over the years and this one was no trouble at all. The lock was installed in about ten minutes or so even with the tenant looking over my shoulder. I gave her a key and had her try locking and unlocking. She asked for the other keys and I told her that I would keep them because she might lose them and then she would have to have a locksmith unlock her door.So all is well...for now. If you are a landlord, spending about $13 to solve a headache like this is nothing. Well worth it to reduce the drama.

Easy to install, great value for the money wasn't trying to break the bank but needed something durable for my door since I have dogs. Looks sleek, and holds up against a 150lb Corso so good durability. My dog did try to open the door with minimal scratches to to handle, so I'd day its pretty resistance to normal wear and scratches.

This handle looks nice and has the function we needed (to be able to lock from inside and use a key from outside)When I first started to install I was like "dang we ordered the wrong side - the handle is supposed to curve down". But then I saw that you can pop the handles off and switch them. "Popping" the handles on off isn't as easy as the overly simple instructions make it seem. It's hard to tell exactly what tab you're pushing and what way - but after a bit I got them switched. The I realized "well that doesn't work. Now the handle sticks into the door frame." So even tough you can switch them, if you need the lock button on a certain side (say the inside) and that side is [on the left in this situation] then the handle is going to curve up. SO you either go with it or get the opposite shaped handle. When I went to screw the thing down it was easy to cross thread and when I went to back the screw out, the threaded part it goes into turns separate from the handle assembly - so you need to grip it with pliers to hold it still. At one point in all this, the long metal rod that runs through the middle (I think that turns the lock) fell out and so I had to stick it back in and assume I h ad it right.Another frustrating thing is that when you take the handle off, the is this plastic spacer thing up there that may fall out and you have to position it just right when putting the handles back on.In the end it worked out and will work for what we need.
