Moving into a new house means there are a LOT of new projects that need doing. I've found myself using this set of nuts+bolts several times in the last couple weeks, and it has been incredibly convenient to have the different length bolts available in a conveniently organized case. They seem to be made of strong enough steel, and the threads have all matched up with the nuts/bolt pairs I've used.

Of the kits available, I ordered the 540 piece, flat head socket cap screws. In my applications, the metric screws will work just as well as standard, so compatibility wasn't an issue for me. The flat head and hex drive make these screws suited for my needs.You see, I like to find uses for magnets to mount, hang or otherwise affix items in locations I find useful. Most of these require a flat head screw for a recessed fit so the magnet fits flush. I also prefer socket cap screws to other options. With a snug fitting hex wrench, socket caps are much easier to install. It's less likely the wrench will slip out and may actually stay in place if I lose my grip or let go for a second. Socket caps can strip just like any other screw, but I avoid that by using only hand tools. And guess what, this kit comes with its own hex wrenches. So at least one has tools to get started.The kit has a good variety, quality and quantity of screws for most jobs I have. If you need a lot of a specific size, you might run out though, but that's not this kit's strong point. The variety makes it more likely you will have the size you need on hand, and you'll have an example to take with you to the hardware store if you need more. The kit obviously won't cover every situation, but it has an adequate size and quantity for me and comes in a clear and organized storage box. All of which make my habit of tinkering much more convenient!

Many of the screw assortments I've ordered from amazon come loose in the box and when they arrive, the screws are all mixed together. Luckily, these screws were well packaged in little plastic bags within the organizer box, ensuring that no mixing occurs. This is really nice to see and makes my life way easier. I have several other screw assortments that are totally mixed together out of the box. The packaging on this screw kit is enough for me to confidently award 5 stars for making my life easier.Besides being well organized, these screws are pretty much exactly what you would expect. A good assortment of metric flat head screws. I mostly use M3 screws but its good to have M4 and M5 on hand in case the need arises. These screw sizes are very useful for 3D printing projects and these screws work great with your standard threaded heat set inserts.Overall, this is a great screw set. It comes well organized with all screws in their own bags. This also makes it easy to remove the screws and load them into your own organizer if that is what you desire. These screws are made from a seemingly quality stainless steel and I have had no issues with rusting so far. I will update my review if these screws rust prematurely but so far so good. 10/10

Having these types of assortments around always prove to be invaluable when you're in the middle of a project and you don't want to stop to go to the big box store. Being 304 stainless is also great, because you can use these either inside or outside without having to worry about rusting or corrosion. I do usually prefer Torx heads, but these work just fine, and they are excellent quality. One note: The picture on the top of the box depicts lock washers being included, but none are present here, so FYI. It's a nice selection of lengths, and the included bit is OK, but real men have their own, LOL. The price seems OK for this quantity of 304SS hardware, so recommended.

I got the 750 piece kit of #o6/8/10 flat head screws. Its a nice assortment, and they do appear to be genuine stainless steel. I've only used a couple of them so far, but its nice to have the whole kit. Just the price of the kit is worth it as it has saved me from making a couple trips to a local big box store.

Even though I have switched over to metric hardware for all my new projects, there are still times when 6-32 screws / nuts come in handy.The kit is housed in a useful plastic box. There isn't a lot of any individual pice but enough for the occasional repair / replace project.Being stainless is a plus here as strength isn't a big deal and being able to use outdoors is.Would buy again.

This is a fantastic set of screws, nuts, & washers with a wide variety of sizes. I do a lot of diy projects & often misplace screws in the process. The case is sturdy, locks well, and all of the pieces not only have a storage area but are also in resealable bags so if there is a spill, they are at least still sorted. A bit is even included; however, it does not fit inside the storage box so I recommend saving the box it arrives in to keep everything together. This is one of those items that can really make projects easier and is a great item for any workbench. Very pleased.
