So far so good. Much better than the original ego 2.5ah. I'm using them for electric go karts.

Purchased this in May 2025. Worked great in the beginning, but if it got heated from use it would stop the mower. After letting it cool down it work. Now it won't charge and just shows Three blinking lights the top two and the bottom. It won't charge and now is USELESS. I now need another battery and doubt if I will chose this model again. Lasted less than a year very sad.

The battery worked as it should charging, the fab turned off when charged. The battery operated my blower and hedger perfectly with a long run time.

Good thing: it works with my Ego equipment.Not-so-good thing: longer story. A few weeks after I got this 5Ah battery, I also got an original, though refurbished, 5Ah battery made by Ego. In the meantime I mowed my yard once on this battery - it lasted me for about 60% of the area, then I had to switch and recharge. On the other hand - the original Ego 5Ah battery, even though refurbished, lasted me for the entire yard.Makes me think it really isn't 5Ah, looks to me more around 3Ah. It is still cheaper than the 2.5Ah Power+ battery from Ego, so I'd say I got a good deal. Just keep in mind it really isn't 5Ah.We'll see how it holds the capacity with time. I may update the review later if I find something interesting.

I’ve been through two cycles of this battery so far, fully charging and depleting it twice. I’ve used it in my blower and trimmer. It seems to be lasting as long as a new name brand battery, allowing me to do the same amount of work on a fully charged battery as the OEM. I like to have two on hand so that there is always one fully charged and ready to use, so I’m going to get another one of these.

Bought less than six months ago, does not charge correctly. Shows full power and then when I put it in my snowblower this winter, drained in 30 seconds. The OEM ego battery it was in there with was fine. Keep in mind it was kept in a heated garage and off the floor. Now it is a paperweight.-Updated rating: The company reached out and gave me a full refund so they do stand behind their products.
