I’ve switched most of my tools, including lawn tools to Milwaukee. And, for the most part, I’m really pleased with them. But the batteries are ungodly expensive. And if I have help, a couple HD12.0 batteries isn’t enough. So I was excited to see a third party, affordable option. I ordered 2 (they are sold in pairs). They came without issues. They were only slightly charged (which was done for shipping safety). I charged. They worked great!I was so excited I bought 4 more. They came fully charged (safely?).The second set of 4 failed to recharge. The Milwaukee rapid charger flashed the red/green failure signal. Then on about the third charge, the original two failed also.So I returned all.I find it inconceivable that all six batteries were bad. I find it more likely that Milwaukee has smarts in the charger that know third party batteries have been purchased. And then refuses to charge them. But it’s above my pay grade to figure it out. Can’t recommend.

As many here have pointed out fit and finish is very similar to the OEM Milwaukee batteries. Both my 8ah Milwaukee Batts no longer charge all the way. Needed some replacements and found these. The key to these aftermarket Chinese copies is to size up from what you originally had. If you get the same rated amp hours, you will be disappointed. I went with the "15"ah batteries as a replacement. All I can say is that I'm VERY impressed so far. I was able to use my trimmer for the whole yard and edged all on one battery with power still left over. The next thing is to see how long these will last. So far, I'm happy. I'll give an update if I have anything come up.

One of my concerns with 3rd party batteries is that they always seem to overexaggerate their capacity, and this one has me a bit confused. As others have noted, I expected to get what was described as a 6Ah M18-compatible battery. The one I received was labeled as a 9Ah M18 compatible battery. In reality, it is a bit smaller and weights a bit less than an OEM Milwaukee 8.0 Ah battery I've got. I suspect it might actually be pretty close to a true 6Ah battery, but haven't had the chance to see how long it lasts in my more high-power tools. Still, this weights enough to be a good backup for some of my OPE tools like my string trimmer, and unlike some of the other OEM batteries I've had, fits well into multiple tools I've got, at least the ones that work well with the larger sized M18 batteries.4 Stars because I think they're overstating the real capacity of the battery, and only giving them benefit of the doubt because I got a larger battery than expected.

When it comes to batteries, there are just a few things to highlight, especially when those batteries aren't the OEM batteries but "compatible replacements", and i can say these are one of the best i've tested so far.As the title states, i ordered a 6AH (not advertised as High Output) and received a 9AH High Output Battery. Is the Claim of both true or not? I don't know and i don't have the equipment to test it, but i did receive more than what i asked for, in a VERY good way, so i'm happy about that.Compatibility:I tested this battery on my Milwaukee Gen 4 Impact Driver, Gen 2 7-14" Circular Saw and on the Dry/Wet Vacuum and i can tell you that i used the saw EXTENSIVELY for a whole day ripping plywood and at the end of my day i was 3/4 dots still. None of the applications fell short of power or gave me any stalling on compatibility.Power:When compared to the OEM Forge Battery, this one feels a little short on power sag using my circular saw while ripping plywood, but i wasn't using it to just cut but pushing it to the limits to compare, i can't put it into an exact figure but i'd say that compared to the $199 8AH Forge, this one needed about 25% more time to rip a plywood sheet, however Forge Batteries are Milwaukee's best and greatest and also when compared to the $35 asking price of this one, those are a whooping 6X the price of 1X of these, so...Features:The battery indicator works perfectly, and while i can't speak on the precision of the gueage when it comes to percentage, it lights well and it's visible, this battery is missing the rubber casing on the bottom portion of the OEM batteries so be mindful that you'll feel a little more shock when setting down the tool compared to the OEMs.Value:ITS $35, 9AH, FULLY COMPATIBLE, (Advertised as) HIGH OUTPUT.Overall i am super happy with it and gone are the days where you were expected to pay hundreds for a high capacity/performing battery. if these last me two years, they would have paid a hundred-fold their value.
