It works perfectly, but just know that 8-point is A LOT OF STARS. I recommend getting 4-6 point instead. Also, the filter can make the image look blurry sometimes

Have never had a problem with Hoya. It works as it should.

I was expecting a filter like one I used to have that made the stars golden or white (depending on their base light), but this made rainbow stars and so was not what I wanted. If that is not something you care about, then this is a great product and does make beautiful star-like lights and twinkles in your pictures.
