I like the concept of this pet vac. Instead of having fur fly everywhere when grooming or clipping, the tools attach to a vac that pulls in the hair. However, I'm not especially thrilled at how the concept was implemented.My chief issue is the noise. Even on low power (there are 3 suction levels) it's noisy. It's way too noisy for either of my vacuum-avoiding cats. While the noise level is less than a full-size vac it is louder than a hand vac. The hose is too short to allow for the vac unit to be set feet away from the pet. I fared a bit better with the pups, but they also were tense due to the noise. But, it depends on the pet. If your dog/cat doesn't flee when you turn on a regular vac, they may be OK with the sound of this vac.Noise aside, the build quality of the attachments is not as good as I expected given the price point. They all work, but are not all that comfortable to use (due in part to the hose being balky to move) and don't have the heft of a good quality tool. The vac suction power is OK on high, but it struggles to pull in fur on slower/quieter speeds.I won't factor in the noise issue since every pet will have a different threshold of noise tolerance. But based on the overall performance and quality, given the price I see this as an average (3 star) product. Despite the promising concept, it's not something that I would consider to be a compelling purchase.

So it's not too loud (not quiet either). But has decent variable suction power. Lots of tools come with it and the great part about the combs are that they all have a button that you can press to move a plastic part down the comb that pushes the hair off the teeth of the comb. So handy! The hair collection bin is easy to remove and empty (outside the house), but it's not very big. So think animals with shorter hair, or small size if have more longer hair. Another tip is that the clippers can be used merely by themselves, or inserted into an adapter that turns it into a suction clipper, which also works pretty well for short haired animals (I did not try it on fluffy long haired dogs).

I am so happy that we got this. Our German Sheppard grows her fur as soon as we brush her...lolWe usually brush her out outside as it is a furry mess fest. Now we can sit on the floor at home or up on the bed and vacuum her. She loves it and actually wants her belly brushed.The desheader is a fantastic add on and really gets the second coat out wonderfully.We tried it out on our cat while she hated it (noise) but we pulled out two more cats worth of fur off of her. She a short hair tabby.If you are on the fence about this, GET IT! Don't wait!

This pet grooming kit comes with all the accessories you'd need to groom your pets. It has very good suction and can really get all the hair stuck on my couch. The machine itself is easy to use and clean up. However, it makes quite a bit of noise, I don't find it loud but my pets are scared of it. I'd be able to brush them with brush attachment but the moment I turn on the machine, they run away. I think it's not just the noise that they are scared of but it's also the air coming from the machine that scares them. I'm going to try to condition them to get used to sound and the feeling but that will take sometimes.It's overally a really good solid machine, it's just the matter of getting the pets to get used to it. For now, I'm just using it as a vacuum cleaner to clean up hair on my furnitures.

I foster dogs and we are always in need of dog supplies. Grooming is a large expense when you have a few dogs and the rescues are skittish. This grooming kit is very quiet compare to the other brands. It's easy to assemble and the compact size make it easy to store. I was looking for clipper attachment to cut different length hair and I realized they are not included. With the included accessories, this kit is better for short hair dogs. All in all, it's still a great kit and you break even after 3 grooming sessions.

I am very happy with the AsyPets Pet Grooming Kit 1.3L with 5 Professional Grooming Tools, Dog Grooming Vacuum Kit! They contain everything you would need to groom your dog of all sizes.
