A folding shovel in your car in the event you go off the road, lose traction or need to clear snow or ice is a necessity if you travel more than a few miles or in rural areas. This shovel is good quality, adequate size and strength to get you out if you need it. As part of an emergency kit, you can use it to dig a shelter in the most extreme situations and it seems to be up to the task.

So far so good! Works well for the money and seems real sturdy. Only wish it came with a case and not just a throw away box

Good all purpose shovel for camping, can be adjusted to serve in almost any digging situation.
