Bought this to replace the blower in our Bryant Furnace. It is almost an exact match to the original part. It was very easy to install which saved hundreds of dollars since we didn’t need to have a service call. The squirrel wheel was difficult to free off the original blower axle and in hindsight I should have just purchased a new squirrel wheel to save that frustration. If you are DIYer, this is a relatively easy project.

The numbers on motor matched #’s on my old one. Not only did it not fit but shaft appeared to be frozen. I didn’t return it because it shows we tried to use it and figured it would be refused for refund. Replaced motor locally with same #’s. It works fine. Lee Hensley

Buyer beware of this product if you trying to get a blower motor 5KCP39GGS336S they will send you a Cheaper,lower quality part # 5KCP39GGZ183S and you just end up paying more and not getting what you pay for so just look at the model numbers and compare prices and make sure you get the right item!

As noted by others, this motor is an exact replacement for the model 5KCP39GGS336S though the new motor is labelled 5KCP39GGZ183S instead. This new motor has the same specifications listed on the label, the same physical construction and dimensions, and the same colored wires as the old motor. After changing the start capacitor to 5 uF as specified and installing the new motor, my furnace was back in operation. The motor price (under $200 which includes shipping) was not the cheapest price but was genuine Genteq and was shipped promptly (came in 3 days).If you need this motor for your furnace, I can recommend ordering it from this company - and remember to order a 5 uF to go with it.

My furnace blower motor stopped working. Cross referenced the numbers and ordered this one. You need to be somewhat mechanically inclined to swap them out. First turn off power and gas. I had to partially remove the circuit panel to access to motor and squirrel cage box. Remove cage from shaft . Remove old motor. Mental note Remember what you have done. Reinstall in reverse order. Double check, verify wires are correct. I did one at a time.Also order and replace start capacitor. Turn on power and gas and presto furnace runs smooth as new! All in all I spent less than 1 hour on this project and probably saved $1,000.00. I know repair techs aren’t cheap but like I said if you can tie your shoes this shouldn’t be difficult for you. Oh and I did have a puller to remove the cage from the shaft mine came off rather easy. Shipping not covered with Prime but came fast. Thanks for the excellent service.

Product was exact replacement of the old one that burned out. Note, this is just the motor, it does not include the run capacitor. The run capacitor size needed is 5 mf, 370 v. It also already has the female spade connectors on the speed wires.. Replaced the old motor, put in new run capacitor and got my heat back. Also it does not include the mounting bracket, so you will need to use your old one onto this motor.
