The burrs are not the least sharp. Only polished soft wood. Didn’t even try on steel or aluminum. Running fingers across the cutting edges did not detect any semblance of a cutting edge.In my opinion, the burrs were a definite disappointment.

You can't find to many file bits for your impact drill, I ordered these thinking they were like the others I had for my regular drill but I think these are intended for wood. I've used them on aluminum no problem and will work on steel but will ware out pretty quick.

You get what you pay for. These dull really easy, and barely can bore out MDF/particle board, let alone solid wood. Alright in a pinch, but nothing to write home about.

I ordered these to notch small pieces of aluminum, and they come smooth. The cuts are there but but shallow and smooth. So I didn't want to deal with sending back and having to wait to finish my project so I cut the grooves deaper and at a little more of a angle to get a more aggressive cut. Took me about 45 mins to do the 3 I planned on using. Not happy with product .

Not sure what the problem is but won’t cut into wood at all. Maybe I got a set that they didn’t sharpen or something. But chucked up every one of the burrs and tried to round over a corner on a scrap piece of plywood. Just sat there spinning against the wood but would not take off even the smallest corner. Will be returning

I was really looking forward to getting these as they would fit into my 1/4" impact however they were very disappointed. They are so dull that they wont cut thin metal. I tried to widen a hold on a thin metal door and they would not even cut the thin door metal. Brand new and they don't cut. I have higher quality ones that don't fit 1/4 from a different manufacturer and they cut awesome, but these would barely take the paint off the door. Take my advice and find a different brand unless you just don't have anything else to do with your time but watch a bit spin.
