About this item

  • Dual Threaded Connection: One end has a 3/8’’ JIC 37° male fitting with a cone-shaped seat, while the other end features a #6 SAE/ORB male fitting with straight threads and an O-ring for sealing
  • 90° Angle: Provides a directional change in the fluid flow, ideal for routing hoses in tight spaces or adjusting fluid paths in specific setups
  • Sealing Mechanism: The #6 SAE/ORB side uses an O-ring to ensure a leak-proof seal, creating a reliable connection
  • Versatile Compatibility: Designed to connect two different hydraulic fitting types—JIC and SAE/ORB—allowing flexibility in assembly
  • Practical Application: The adapter is particularly useful in systems where space constraints or specific hose routing require a 90° angle to reorient the flow path

These fit as expected. Quality is good. These are what you're usually going to want to use on cylinders. Most have orb holes, and you're usually going to want the elbow so the hose can run parallel to the cylinder. These are perfect for many applications.Great item!

What can I say, these look just like other JIC/ORB fittings I've used. They appear well-made, fit and finish are nice. Corrosion will raise its head in years, so I can't say much, but they appear well crafted.

They seem to fit well. The machining is smooth, no abnormally sharp edges.I used them for the hydraulic cylinder i added for side tilt on the 3 point hitch of my tractor. I had started with straight fittings comming off the cylinder and didn't like the way the hoses laid after I adding a pilot check valve to prevent the settling. These let me set the angle of the hoses much better. When rigging osmething hydraulic I prefer these oring SAE elbos over the NPT elbos because you can spin it to exactly the angle you want, then tighten the nut with the oring. With NPT fittings, I'd be tightening and loosening trying to find the best angle, then it would leak.BTW, if you have trouble with NPT hydraulic fittings leaking, clean the threads and put a heavy dose of medium strength (blue) thread locker on them. That stuff does not dry, it cures. Its a chemical reaction triggered by the ions in the steel. So it will set up and seal the threads. When I have to use NPT on hydraulics, that's how I make it not leak.
