I ordered a desk chair for my computer table and needed to have wheels that do not roll around because I have nice hardwood floors where the chair will be and I needed something to replace the original wheels with. These were half price and I ordered them for the replacement of the original wheels that came with the chair. The went on easily and I am not disappointed with my purchase. The bottom seems like there is some kind of felt like coating so the won't scratch your floors. Still easy to move around. Im very happy with these replacements and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for something that DOES NOT roll and you can just slide along without scratching your floors.

I have an office chair with wheels that I wanted to use on my hardwood floor. However, because wheels could scratch the floor, I didn't want to use those. These replacement casters and perfect solution.They fit perfectly in my chair and I think it would fit most of the caster wheels. They are very easy to install or remove. The overall construction of the casters is also good and feels sturdy. I liked that the base has the cushion and I don't have to add anything else.There is also a lever with on/off position in each chair. There is no instruction but I was figure it out. In one position the chair can move up and down and in another it stays there. I would suggest to keep all casters in same position.Overall, I am pleased with these casters and easily convert a wheel caster to stationary caster.

I have a nice office chair I wanted to put by our dining room table, but my wife was very unhappy that it was able to roll around. I got these and problem solved. We now have a nice office chair as an extra seat at the table. Saving my marriage is a bit of an exaggeration, but she is happier. I was a bit confused as to what the lever does on these but you basically can have two different modes. With the lever in one position it allows the rubber foot to stay recessed allowing you to slide the chair around on the felt section. Or if you want the rubber pad all the way down holding it firmer to the floor you can adjust the lever. Its a pretty slick design. I love these for the ability to exchange casters to actual feet if that is what you want. Its a great design and works well. I am out of the dog house... for now.
