This DB9 to RJ45 Modular Serial Adapter is designed for connecting terminals, serial printers, modems, POS and other serial devices to your network via twisted-pair Cat5e/6 cabling. This saves you time and money by eliminating the need to upgrade your existing hardware.
DB9 Male to RJ45 Female
The adapter features a female DB9 serial connector with color-coded twisted-pair wires on one side and an RJ45 female connector on the other, You can connect dumb desktop terminals to a central patch or directly to an MUX. Slotted, knurled thumbscrews provide a quick, secure attachment to your device. Color-coded wiring simplifies troubleshooting.

These work great but don't plan on re-wiring after you wire one. I don't, so they work perfectly.

Good connector seating, decent quality. Just don’t try to reconfigure them more than once.
